Underwear - Outerwear

Night dress: H+M; Flats: Office; Mini Skirt(worn underneath dress)/Top: Primark; Silk Scarf: Market

I cannot believe it, the sun has finally decided to show us some love here in the UK. As it was a little bit warm I chose to wear my sheer night dress as a skirt. I think you guys know this about me now from previous post that some of my clothes are multi purpose. Just think of how much money you will save if you looked at the pieces in your wardrobe and just think outside the box.

What do you think?

The little Mermaid....(kabba ni slit)

Oversized clutch : River Island; Shoes/Leather Gloves : Zara; Kabba & Slit : My design, made in Ghana

Over the Bank Holiday weekend I was invited to a traditional Ghanaian christening. So I thought it fitting to wear my Ghanaian cloth, also known as (Kabba and Slit).
To be honest I used to be embarrassed to wear my traditional outfits out. My mum made me loads when I was younger but I never wore them. Now as I grow up I am beginning to appreciate just how beautiful they are.

What about you guys, are there any outfits that you use to be embarrassed to wear when you were younger but now like?

101 Dalmations

Silk shorts: Topshop Unique;  Jumper: ASOS;  Shoes: Primark

I just glanced out the window after hearing the news that this horrible weather is going to  be around well into June. (Excuse me for a moment while I wipe the tears from my eyes.)  Are we ever going to see sunshine again this year?  Well I can always reminisce on days when I could wear shorts with bare legs outside.. I took these pictures a while back by the way. I'm not prancing around in shorts in this weather. I'm not that brave.

Hope your week has been good so far. Is there any items of clothing you can't wait to sport when the sun finally shows up?

4 in 1

Outfit 1 - H&M dress; Topshop hat;  Nike high tops; Bershka Leather Jacket
Outfit 2 - H&m dress; Zara jumper; New Look wedges; Primark Knee hi socks
Outfit 3 - H&M dress (worn as top); Primark pencil skirt and shoes
Outfit 4 - H&M dress; Vintage long skirt; Topshop woolly hat; Nine West boots

Sometimes I feel like I have nothing to wear, (which should really be impossible with the size of my wardrobe) But I do. So I was forced to reassess what makes me think I haven't enough clothes at the moment. Then I found this H&M dress which I have had for a while and it occurred to me why do I have to wear it only as a dress when it could be paired up with other pieces and be worn as a top or a skirt. So that's what I did and hey presto! I have 4 new outfits for day and night.

The highs and lows

A pop of colour on a gloomy day

Skirt, Belt : Primark; Leather Jacket : Bershka; Shoes : Zara; Necklace: Market in Ghana; Jumper : Vintage

I am so bored of this weather we are having in London at the moment, rain rain rain and guess what? More rain. So I am forced to brighten up my day by wearing bold colors. This should do it.

What do you think? Do you like the colour block trend?

Snake Print and blues

Shirt: Primark; Trousers: Topshop; Heels: BCBG MAXAZRIA

My BCBG MAXAZRIA heels were the inspiration behind this outfit. I liked the blue lining against the brown leather and the cute detailing of gold. So I looked through my ever growing wardrobe and found these Topshop trousers I got in the sale for only a tenner. My Snake print Primark shirt was also only a tenner. What a bargain outfit. Hope you like it.

What's the best sale item you've bought recently?
